In 2011, CFR Rinkens helped introduce an innovative way to ship vehicles in an enclosed shipping container which allowed up to 3 to 5 vehicles in one 40-foot container. The old way of placing the cars on wooden ramps was replaced by a lighter, safer, and easier to install rack system that raises the vehicle into a secured position allowing for the cars to be stacked denser together. This new system of shipping vehicles lowers the cost to transport goods, reducing the environmental impact of the shipping process.
